Pacific Rim Electric Ltd. (formerly Glen Valley Electric) is a licensed and bonded electrical contractor serving the Vancouver Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley of BC, Canada. About Pacific Rim Electric

Todd Mercer, Founder

Todd started his diverse electrical career in the commercial sector of the trade in 1995, and from there had the opportunity to advance into the industrial and oil/gas sector. Following this, he gained further experience in the commercial sector with mid-to-large tenant improvements such as stand-alone retail spaces and multi-floor office renovations.

Todd also worked in new construction, installing electrical systems for malls, casinos, and community centres. With a more industrial focus, he worked on multiple Skytrain stations with new builds, system-wide upgrades, and full station lighting retro-fits. Working within a Special Projects department enhanced skill development in working with general contractors and business owners.

In 2010, Todd established his own company, Glen Valley Electric (GVE), formed on the concept of high quality electrical contracting with first-rate, direct customer communication. Since then, the diversity of projects and customer base has grown into a leading electrical contractor, working alongside HVAC contractors among others, with a focus on design-build and retrofit projects.

In 2024, GVE underwent a name change to Pacific Rim Electric Ltd. Todd continues to lead his company forward with bigger and ever-existing projects.
